Privacy Policy — EU GARAN Label

EU GARAN Label ("the App") is operated by Mindthemedia ApS ("we", "us"). This policy describes what data the App processes when a merchant installs it on their Shopify store.

Data we collect and store

The App stores only what is required to operate: the store's domain and an API access token (session data), and the guarantee settings the merchant enters per product (guarantee period and an optional terms URL), which are stored as metafields inside the merchant's own Shopify store. The official guarantee label graphics generated by the App are stored in the merchant's Shopify Files.

Customer data

The App does not collect, store, or process any personal data about the merchant's customers. Labels shown at checkout and on the Thank you page are rendered from product data only.

GDPR requests

The App implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. As we store no customer data, customer data requests and redaction requests require no action. When a store uninstalls the App, all stored session data for that store is deleted automatically within 48 hours.

Data location and sharing

The App is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). We do not sell or share data with third parties. Data is only exchanged with Shopify's APIs to provide the App's functionality.
